Fellow Bloggers, do you ever find you have pictures that you'd like to talk about, but not enough of something to justify a post? That is where I find myself tonight--random pictures that need a little lovin'. Let's begin.
Dog kennels fly out of pick up trucks if enough wind is present.

And, the door breaks off.

This shot just made me happy. I got those little red shovels for $0.99 on clearance at Target the end of last winter. I had no idea if they'd hold up or even work, but let me now tell you what a fabulous purchase they were. We get so many little ones out who are ready and willing to work, but a larger shovel or pitch fork would be too heavy. They are the perfect size and not a single one has perished in the poop.

Isn't it funny when you're being filmed showing a group of children entering a horse pen and one of the horses escapes by walking right past the children and out the gate? Doesn't that just make you crack up? What about when the horse is making a b line (Whoa, I have never written that out. Would it be bee line? B line?) for some moldy oldie hay? Crazy horse!

Just love her little face and the dirt/poop. Cute stuff.

I'm confused. Did a mama bird really leave her egg to chill at the top of this V without nary a nest? Or, did a predator bird place it there thus explaining the crack in the shell and the oozing remains on the ground? I do not know anything about such silliness. I'm sure some of you might. (White to the right is not ooze, but feces...bird feces.) CSI detectives, have at it.

Now for the last and most controversial picture of the evening. Butterfly or moth? I always thought I knew until I just googled to make sure before posting.

How about I let you decide, my wise readers? Would you say this is a butterfly or a moth that
LOVES LOVES horse poop? If it helps you with your decision, they are all over the pen!
I will leave you with a little factoid that popped up during my intensive Google research.
If a human baby grew as fast as some species of caterpillars it would weigh 8 tons when it was only two weeks old.
Have yourself one very fantastic day full of interesting tidbits and fun times.
Happy Birthday to Mike, our wonderful Galloping Grace neighbor!
Hope you had a fantastic day. We appreciate you so much!

Oooh! I knw what they are...I really do!!
Manure Moths!

They sure are pretty, though. And know how to brighten up a pile up of poop like nobody's business!

Wow, such great pictures! Funny how we take so many pictures and then don't really ever use them, this shows they are useful!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! Hope to see you again!
Girl, I have tons of those types of pictures too!! I love the randomness of this post!! Fantastic!!
I love the little girls face with the dirt flying!! Fun shot!! And the run away horse, making a B-line?? is funny. I really have no idea how that is spelled either. But I can't spell anyway.
I was going to say that buttermoth, probably had a Monarch Butterfly for a mom and a Moth for a Dad, so now she is a Buttermoth. Yes? No? Okay, most likely not. Maybe the butterfly grows that funky hair on it's body from eating horse poop? The poop puts hair on it's chest!! Whauahahahahaa!! Oh my, I crack myself up. Hee hee.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend, and don't eat the horse poop, it'll put hair on your chest!!
Andrea, you nailed it. I do believe you cleared up the mystery. A hairy chested poop eating buttermoth.
I love your pics. It always brings a smile to face to see my own lovelies on your blog (and relief when I see you left me out).
I am glad that horse got away. Because now I know how to catch and halter a rogue horse (thanks Trish!!)
Great random post!
Whatever it is, butterfly or moth, it's pretty, in spite of the manure background.
Good post - possible title: "Scrapbook"
I agree with "bee line" referring to the straight flight of a bee, loaded with pollen, when it's returning to it's hive.
From the looks of that horse it wasn't escaping too fast.
Great pictures.
Dan
your galloping grade neighbor huh?
tell that little nephew of mine hola

Thanks, Regina. I'm such a type-o queen! Why doesn't my hubby catch these things?
Aww, such cute pics! Good deal on the shovels, I know what you mean. It's hard for kids who want to help to handle those big forks.
Butterflies!! That's my guess!
B-line?
It's a month right?
lol
A title eludes you and a comment- me.
oh, and forthcoming announcement soon. i just couldnt' resist blurting it out since D was talking of the rites of spring.
What a cute mini pony.
Hey, maybe if I bought some of those little red shovels, I could coax some of the youngsters to pitch in a bit more in the barn? ;-)
I think its a moth!!
Fun post, love the random pictures! :) I have a lot, too!
I definitely think it is a moth. It's body is fuzzy like a moth caterpillar. I think children think all caterpillars become beautiful butterflies, but most of the ones we see are actually moth caterpillars. We like to study these things in class sometimes. I learned a lot about teddy bear caterpillars this year (the orange and black fuzzy ones.)
I like this post, and think you chose a great title. :) The casually fleeing horse cracked me up. :)
Don't spelling nazis anoy you? There always thinking there so smart. They get alot of joy out of makeing you feel paranoid about how you spell in every post. Don't let her stiffle you like that. Post freeley and without reservashun, I say.
me, catching up....and wishing i could sleep
