Dylan's First Ride
Jenifer, niece to sweet Keri who faithfully comments on the blog, brought her children out two weeks ago for a scheduled session. At that time, only the two older children got to ride. Dylan, the baby, was told he wasn't able to. Hard for a little guy who thinks he can do anything and everything his older siblings do! Fast forward another two weeks and Dylan was suddenly awarded the right to mount his steed.
Could Cowboy Max get him to ride?
Absolutely no problem at all!
Jenifer didn't expect for Dylan to allowed to ride, so she did not come equipped with her camera. I, knowing the physical need to document every first any of my children experience, was there in her moment of panic. I happily snapped away while Dylan had his big moment, oblivious to the fact my white balance had been accidentally moved from auto to fluorescent lighting! Imagine my horror when I got home and noticed a blueish, purple tinge to all my photos taken not only that day, but the whole weekend at our family cattle ranch during the big City Slicker (post for another day) event! AHHHH.

How cute! It cracks me up that some kids cry because they don't want to ride...or they cry because they don't want to stop! :) I'm sure Dylan thought that real horse was better than a merry-go-round!
Dylan is just too darn cute! I loved the pictures! He looks so small on the horse!
Love the picture of the high five! Cute, cute, cute!
Great job Dylan. Well done.
Michelle, in Photoshop, the simplest fix is to go to Image (in the menu bar at the top), then Adjustment, then Color Balance. Play with the color balance by reducing the blue and/or cyan.
If you want to be safe you can create a layer first to do this so you don't change the original image. If you get something you like, then merge the layers and save.

Good job Dylan and Michelle. And thanks Dan for the photoshop lesson! If only we had photoshop!
Aww, what a sweet little bugaboo!

Oh...and I have no clue what to do with photoshop. Maybe one day I'll be able to buy it and try it out. Everyone raves about how easy it is to use and how great it can make your pics look. Your pics already look great. Imagine how they'd look AFTER photoshop! hehe!
