It's Over

Last Friday's Bidding Wars post really got a lot of your competitive juices flowing. We got a real kick out of reading the comments. Thanks to all who played.

I'm so confused by my own rules. Do any of you that bid during this last week want a Galloping Grace shirt? If so, you won! It's as easy as that. You tell me what you want to pay, I send your shirt on it's way!

If you have since decided that you want no part of a shirt that was "won" under false rules, I completely understand. If I don't hear from you ever again, I'll know you have decided to go buy a shirt elsewhere.

Today was a super busy day for all of us--especially Max and Trish. Max was out at the ranch by five this morning building the sides on a trailer. (Tomorrow is pumpkin gathering day!) Around 10 AM, a group of nine children came out to work and play at GG. This afternoon involved setting up a portable pen at a park. The preschool that all our children have, or currently do attend, was celebrating 40 years in the community. Galloping Grace provided pony rides for all interested children, and there were A LOT of them! Max and Trish walked in circles for hours and hours. Renee put helmets on hundreds of children. I walked in circles and acted busy. Exhausting. In my defense, I was up until 2:45 last night finishing the slide show I made for the preschool showing 40 years worth of pictures. When I have energy to download and view my pictures, I'll share a little of the excitement.

Hope your weekend is a fantastic one. Thanks for stopping by to read this crazy rambling.

Bidding War

Our friend Mark at The Ranch on Salmon Creek came up with a great idea--have an online blog auction for a few of the lovely t-shirts donated by Norm and Sandy as a small fund raiser for the ranch. Here is your chance to have your very own Galloping Grace Youth Ranch t-shirt. (All the cool kids are wearing them!) How about next Friday I announce the winners by the three highest bids in the comment in this post? At 12 noon (mountain standard time) on the 26th, please imagine a tintinnabulation occurring signaling the end of all bids. Funny, probably anyone who would want one of these lovely creations already received one last Saturday. Ignore that. I'm posting this fun idea anyway. Mark, you're a smart man. (And I just love clever ideas for a post!)

The sizes we have left are:
3XL
2XL
XL
L

So if you like your t-shirts bigger or are looking for a new shirt for jammies, we're your store. Bid away.

Happy weekend to all of you.
Update: I'm wishing to change the rules of my own contest. I can do that, right?? I am feeling guilt from the large bids out there! Mark wrote in the comments that he assumes we are only auctioning off one of each size. That doesn't have to be the case--and you don't have to bid $100! (You guys are too cute and generous!) We have several XLs left. We will accept all reasonable bids on those. :) ($25 is more than generous--thanks for those bids so far.) I have a feeling Regina is going to get on me for changing the rules mid stream, but that's just how I am. I am wishy washy wimpy girl. And, if there are several of you who would pay a reasonable amount for a shirt, all the better for Galloping Grace! :) I will entertain objections to my rule change because, once again, I'm wishy washy wimpy girl! Let me have it! Oh, and feel free to change your bids because I wouldn't mind a bit. Thanks for playing along--this is fun for me. :)
